One of a kind flannel covered buttons! Backed as either a magnet or a pin. The fabric was hand-cut from a piece of flannel and so no two are precisely the same. Every button will look different and therefore is unlikely to match exactly to what you see in the pictures.
The flannel is soft and enjoyable to run your fingers over. The snowflake pattern makes them perfect for winter or Christmas decorations or accents.
I have only made a few buttons for pictures so that I can allow you to choose whether you would like a magnet or a pin. Buttons will be similar to what is pictured but designs will be selected randomly unless you ask to see available options when placing your order.
If you look very closely on the backs you can see that some of the edges aren't perfect with a little bit of fraying. The fabric is still secured inside the metal, but due to how these are made, sometimes the fabric folds partially outward in the final assembly, leaving a little bit of a "tail" sticking out. I will trim any tails as close to the button as I can. This hasn't seemed to make a difference in the button structure overall; the metal pinches it all together quite well. If you have any issues with fraying, simply cut the edges off carefully but DO NOT pull on any loose threads or frays or you would ruin the button by pulling out the fabric from the crimp.
The buttons are fabric wrapped around metal; they hold up to light use, such as being worn on a shirt or stuck on a refrigerator but might not survive long on a backpack or anywhere they would get constant abuse or wear where the fabric might be rubbing on the metal repeatedly. If you need to clean it, clean it by hand using as little water as possible and set it out to dry completely. Do not put in the washing machine, dishwasher, etc.
